Six Flags New England in partnership with Baystate Health is offering a Johnson & Johnson vaccination clinic open to the general public at Six Flags New England, Saturday, June 19 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The vaccination site will be located in the park’s General Parking Lot (located across the street from the theme park).
“More and more people are recognizing that the vaccine is very safe and effective. As we enter the summer months and as families resume their summer activities, such as going to the beach or to Six Flags New England, I can’t stress enough the importance of getting vaccinated,” said Dr. Armando Paez, chief of Infectious Diseases, Baystate Medical Center.
What to expect
People must pre-register and should come dressed in comfortable clothing that allows for access to the upper arm. Patients should expect to wait for 15 minutes during a post vaccine observation time.
There is a two week time period following the vaccine that patients are encouraged to continue mask wearing as it takes time for the body to build response.
All patients will receive a vaccination card and two free tickets to Six Flags New England valid for any one day during the 2021 operating season.
