Blood Pressure and Exercise

Tuesday, August 13, 4-5:30 pm

Baystate Health Education Center, 361 Whitney Ave, Holyoke

We hear exercise is good for a lot of reasons and it is also good for controlling blood pressure.  But what happens when exercising and how much?  Join Heidi Szalai, MA, ACSM-CEP, Clinical Exercise Physiologist, Baystate Cardiac Rehabilitation Care, and the team, for a discussion about what happens to blood pressure when we exercise and what-to-do and how-to do-it of exercising, as well as top tips with plenty of handouts and time for questions and answers. Join the team for a short walk after the presentation (weather permitting). Heart healthy refreshments served.  FREE!
