There have been many changes in cars and roadways to improve driver safety. Join Skip Estee, AARP driver safety instructor, for a discussion about valuable defensive driving skills, proven safety strategies, how to stay current with the latest driving technologies and rules of the road, as well as physical changes that can impact your driving ability. Michelle Lantaigne, OT, Baystate Rehabilitation Care, will discuss tips for adapting to our physical changes and when intervention is needed to be able to effectively maneuver today’s roadways.
Fee: To be paid at the event, $20 per person for members of AARP and $25 per non-member of AARP.
Many participants may be eligible for a multi-year insurance discount after taking the course. Participants are encouraged to check with their insurance agent to see if they are eligible.
There are no tests required to pass the course.
