Occupational Therapy

Our occupational therapists goal is to help you regain, develop and build hand and arm strengthening skills that are necessary for independent functioning.  We work with individuals whose lives have been disrupted by illness, injury, normal aging and development disability.

Our medically-managed program is designed to:

  • Increase a patient's independence
  • Restore health, confidence and self-sufficiency

Self Evaluation:

-- Have you experienced a decrease in activity level or function?

-- Do you have pain in your hand, wrist, forearm or elbow?

-- Have you had any numbness or tingling in your hands recently?

-- Are you frequently dropping things or experiencing decreased hand strength?

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, you may benefit from occupational therapy services through Baystate Rehabilitation Care.
