About This Provider:
As a Hematologist/Oncologist specializing in gastrointestinal cancers, Dr. Armen Asik believes a mutual sense of trust and respect is key to building strong relationships. By listening carefully to each patient’s concerns, he strives to connect with patients on both a personal and professional level and demonstrates compassion at every turn.
With 22 years of experience treating colorectal cancers, gastroesophageal cancers, anal cancer, hepatocellular (liver) cancers, pancreaticobiliary (pancreas and bile ducts) cancers and neuroendocrine cancers, he values the multidisciplinary approach to gastrointestinal (GI) cancers practiced at Baystate Health and is proud to serve as a coordinator of the weekly GI Tumor Board. He is a member of American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Steering Committee, Lymphoma Research Foundation, and New England Lymphoma Rounds.
Fluent in English, Turkish, Armenian, and German, he enjoys traveling with his family and walking in nature when time allows.
