The Baystate Children’s Specialty Center is one of the newest facilities to open across Baystate Health opening in the fall of 2013. The facility allows for the majority of Baystate’s pediatric specialty services to be consolidated under one roof, including a reference laboratory and pharmacy.
The experiences of our youngest patients and their families inspired the design of the new building, including state of the art technology and comprehensive care coordination. More akin to a playscape or children’s museum, the center features over 57 bright and cheerful colors that come together to create a nurturing and comforting environment for children of all ages.
