John R. Romanelli, MD Associate Professor of Surgery, UMass Chan Medical School-Baystate

The fellowship director is an expert in the field of minimally invasive surgery (MIS) and is responsible for overseeing the program, including selection of the fellow and teaching staff as well as establishing goals and guidelines. In addition to the faculty listed below, MIS surgeons come from several other specialties, including colorectal surgery, pediatric surgery, thoracic surgery, and transplant surgery.
