The Latest in Cancer Care

Because Baystate Medical Center is the regional campus of UMass Chan Medical School – Baystate our doctors are always advancing their knowledge in cancer diagnosis, treatment, and support. Many of them are at the forefront of research in their fields and have trained or practiced at leading cancer centers around the world.

This all means our patients get world-class care and access to new treatments coming out of our clinical trials.

Our Clinical Trials

We have ongoing clinical trials in many medical specialties, including cancer care. These trials help our patients by exploring advanced treatment options and increasing the chances they’ll be available to them right in their communities. Right now, some of our specialists are involved in a lung cancer clinical trial exploring the success of a specific drug therapy after surgery.
